If you want details about why I think that the G4 Cube was a dumb idea, MacWEEK published my piece Who's the Market? (and note the correction I added).
Don't like the cube. Don't
Don't like the cube. Don't like the mouse. Don't like the keyboard.
Yes, it's one of those days... (but I do have good reasons for all the above).
Today's NYC travel diary: Stop
Today's NYC travel diary:
- Stop one: get the ring appraised. Final answer (after two guys checked it out): Tom got a good deal. I think that I did, too.
- Stop two: my annual pilgrimage to see Winnie-the-Pooh. Living (so to speak) proof that the Velveteen Rabbit was bunk.
- Stop three: found the Escher lizard pieces that I fell in love with on last year's trip. This time, I made sure to find out their web site. I'm not sure where we'll put them if we buy them, but I think that they're great.
- Tonight's plan: Second Avenue Deli--yum!

Update from NYC (which is
Update from NYC (which is where I am until Friday):
Got in late last night, as the plane was delayed (of course!).
Got a call today from Cam, whose flight west was cancelled. He's not flying out till tomorrow now, so I'm going out to dinner with him and/or Damien. Interesting thought... with identical twins, how do you know which one you're getting, particularly if your main relationship is via email? For instance, why can't Damien go off to SF, if Cam really wants to go to Macworld Expo this week?
Y'know sometimes it would really be helpful if there was two of me, and this week is one of them.
And in other news, here's the link that Tom won't post. Warning: large monitor recommended. And if you think that you should have heard about this sooner, you should have signed up here.
