Apple said today that "We expected to sell 3 times more Cubes." Once again, I get to say I told you so! Please note that my article came out the same day the Cube was announced, and the number of flames that the article received in response saying that I didn't know what I was talking about.

In retrospect, it's not surprising that friends send me gag images like this.

From Molly Ivins latest column: "You'll be pleased to learn the Texas Natural Resource Conservation Commission has issued a report on how much progress in cleaning up air pollution has been made under George W.'s famous "voluntary compliance" program. The total amount of reduced emissions from grandfathered plants attributable to the governor's program is zero." Now, let's see if Dubya can spread that success nationwide!

You know that line from

You know that line from the Bible about how mankind is meant to "...fill the earth and subdue it; and have dominion over...every living thing that moves upon the earth?" That's Dori's demeanor when she's programming. And woe to the code that dares to defy her will. She smites its ass, and turns the air purple in the process. I had to leave the room.
