MacMania report

In MacMania II sets sail from Hawaii, Jim Dalrymple covers MacMania so we don't have to. Another pina colada over here, boy!

Up at the Keck

We went up to the Mauna Kea Observatory today. It was interesting, albeit a bit thin, oxygen-wise; the Mauna Kea summit is at 14,000 feet. We saw the Keck telescope.

Waikiki sightseeing

Today was sightseeing in Oahu. I have to say that I now know more about WW II submarines and the Hawaiian Plantation era than I ever thought I would know. Or ever really wanted to. The USS Arizona and USS Missouri were both pretty darn amazing, though.

Tomorrow, onto the cruise!
