Trolling for Email Annoyances

I'm doing a magazine article on things about email that annoy people, and solutions for those problems. I've got several ideas already, but I thought that I would solicit some more. So tell me in the comments: What annoys you about email? What problems do you have to deal with? What drives you kind of nuts about your email? Did you have a problem and then solve it? If so, how?

Shuffling cronies

This Houston Chronicle article discusses possible White House staff changes in Dubya's second term. But this is what stood out for me:

But the rumor mill is churning out speculation that Andrew Card, the White House chief of staff, would move over to the Treasury Department, replacing Treasury Secretary John Snow.

Take a look at Andy Card's resume from the White House site. Note that he has basically no financial experience, other than perhaps balancing his checkbook. This would just be yet another example of cronyism and failing upwards in the Bush administration. And especially when some of Dubya's financial mistakes will be coming home to roost, what America needs least is someone who is personally loyal to the President, and who helped us get into the looming financial mess.
