Medical update

After last night's ER escapade (see the update portion of the post below), I went back in this morning for an ultrasound of the left leg. That was negative for a blood clot, so we're proceeding with the leg infection course of treatment. The leg still hurts, but maybe a little less today than yesterday. The doctor said that it usually takes about 24 hours for the antibiotics to get the upper hand over this kind of infection. I'm going to take it easy today and tomorrow, and get in to see my regular family physician Monday or Tuesday.
