One Thing About Apple

John Gruber wrote a post tonight, Daring Fireball: Why Apple Won't Buy Adobe. It starts off with:

This one’s pretty simple.

And then, as is Gruber's wont, goes on for many paragraphs.

Here's my much shorter opinion (which I've said here before, although not recently):

Apple is a hardware company.

Does buying Adobe's applications help Apple sell more hardware? Nope? Then it ain't gonna happen.
