A Better TwitterKeys
I've been quiet for a bit because, as Tom said, I was trying to finish a book. That book is (I think! I hope!) done now, so I'll be doing more blogging once I get caught up on sleep. In the meantime, I figured that a little book preview might be in order.
I took a look at Twitter a few days ago and saw that people had gone ga-ga about TwitterKeys—which I took a look at and said, "Geez, I can do better than that!" So here's my bookmarklet version:
This one doesn't require you to load someone else's web page and someone else's advertising, and you can even modify it yourself if you want to.
A couple of bonus Twitter-related bookmarklets:
Diacritics: another small window with useful copy and paste characters.
TinyURL: on a Web page you want to Twitter about? Click this one, check the window that opens to make sure it worked, and then paste it into your Twitter message.
If you don't haven't used bookmarklets before, you should just be able to drag any of these links to your bookmarks bar. To use them after that, just click 'em.
If you run into problems with any of these (so long as you're not running IE), let me know.
